A visual identity and layout system created for Unpleasant Truths, a conceptual book exploring the spectrum of language — from gentle to harsh, poetic to cruel.

Inspiration

The book focused on three universal themes — sex, death, and alcohol — collecting expressions that reveal how we soften, distort, or brutalize meaning depending on context.

Aesthetic

Circular typographic systems mirror the accumulation, rhythm, and emotional weight carried by language, turning words into visual patterns charged with poetic intensity.
